We thank you for supporting St Matthias’ and its works! You can make a monthly or a one-time donation – and the amount you would like to donate is up to you. Tax receipts are automatically issued: it’s the gift that keeps on giving!
Option 1 - PAR
Pre-Authorised Remittance, a United Church of Canada service that they graciously allow other churches to use as well, is one of the best ways to give to St. Matthias'! While cheques are absolutely still valuable forms of giving, your use of PAR allows us to budget with assurance. Especially in the summer and over other travel-heavy times of year, PAR giving keeps us liquid.
PAR charges us just $0.50 per donor per month in processing fees, a small price to pay for being able to predict our cash flow.
While we also have a Canada Helps option (see below), their service fees are higher (2% of each transaction) but still a great choice for incidental, variable or special donations (be sure to note what your donation is for!).
Signing up for PAR is easy: print and fill out the form and return it to the church office, where Dawn will take care of the rest! Don't have a printer? Ask Dawn to print a copy of the form for you.
