who we are

More than just a space.

St. Matthias’ is a vibrant intergenerational parish mingling parishioners who have been attending their whole lives and those who have recently joined the family. And we do think of ourselves as a family: we worship together, eat together, think together, work and play together, and, more than that, we care about each other, and we want to spread that care to the world outside our walls. There’s a reason we invite you to come home to St. Matthias’!

We’re proud of our building’s beauty, and the ways the various halls and spaces offer room for the community, but St. Matthias’ is not just the building. We are our stellar music, our mix of traditional and contemporary liturgy, our skilled leadership, the opportunities we provide for community involvement, and, most important, we are a group of people who care about each other and enjoy coming together in worship.

Overwhelmingly, it is the people that make us who we are. Friendships are made here, and this space is simply the site where an accepting, supportive community enters into fellowship with each other, so that we can reach out to the community outside of our walls and share the love the we have with the whole world. Why don’t you come home to St. Matthias’, and discover your place in our family?
