On February 25th, a few St. Matthians will be participating in ‘The Coldest Night of the Year‘, a 5-10 km winter walk fundraiser that supports organizations that help the hungry, homeless, and hurting in communities across the country.
For the walk in Montreal, funds raised will go to the The St-James Drop-In Center.
You can follow their fundraising progress and donate here: The Beer Saints!
The online donation allows you to give securely using credit card or Paypal, and you’ll receive a charitable receipt immediately. Or, write a cheque payable to “Coldest Night of the year” and bring it to church on Sunday, or drop it off at the church office – either way, your donation will make a huge difference in the lives of those who benefit from the St-James Drop-In Centre’s great work.
The walk has a 5 and 10 km option, and the team has signed up for 5 cold Kilometres, but if our team raises their goal of $10000, they’ll do the 10 km walk!
Thank you for your generosity!
